More specifically, your daily tasks with us will include

  • Analyzing projects to fully understand the scope of each one.
  • In collaboration with the teams in our properties, defining, planning, and coordinating projects while considering the impact on daily operations.
  • Providing recommendations on solutions to implement and ensuring follow-up.
  • Preparing project budgets and schedules.
  • Assigning and coordinating meetings with professionals, architects, engineers, etc.
  • Supervising and controlling the preparation of plans, estimates, and tender documents.
  • Ensuring follow-up during the tendering process.
  • Communicating with subcontractors, analyzing submissions, and presenting recommendations.
  • Negotiating and preparing contractual documents with contractors.
  • Monitoring construction work and necessary administrative follow-ups, often within tight deadlines.
  • Managing change orders and negotiating extras.
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all levels.

Required qualifications

  • Hold a degree in engineering, architecture, environmental design, project management, or equivalent experience.
  • Possess 3 to 5 years or more of experience in project management.
  • Any experience in construction project management will be considered.
  • Knowledge of the Building Code.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance (asset).
  • Mastery of the Office suite and MS Project.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, both orally and in writing.
