If you have worked in the food services, retail, or customer service industry and are interested in managing teams providing excellent customer service, our team is looking for you. We are hiring a full-time operations manager and need you at CDS!

As an internal provider of Costco Wholesale product samples, CDS hires friendly, professional, and talented employees who provide product demonstrations and marketing services to Costco Wholesale and its suppliers. CDS adheres to and complies with Costco Wholesale's policies and standards and strives to create lasting member awareness that increases sales on the day of a demonstration and in the months that follow.

As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for directing all activities related to the promotion and sales of supplier products, and oversee the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of part-time staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for training product demonstrators in food safety and product handling, hygiene, demonstration preparation, and exceptional service to members. The position requires the individual to communicate between warehouse managers, suppliers, and product demonstrators and to participate in the official openings of new locations, as applicable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to four years of relevant experience in similar roles in a sales, hospitality, or food environment, working part-time.
• The candidate must be detail-oriented and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead highly performing teams.
• Must be able to train and advise employees and take corrective action as needed.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Requires flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in both French and English.
