Chef(fe) – Remote Sites (Baie-Comeau and Port-Cartier) – 2 Positions Available

Working Conditions

• 14-day work rotation / 14-day vacation
• Accommodation and meals provided during the rotation
• Transportation organized by Aramark
• Marshalling point from Montreal or Quebec
• Work in camps and remote areas
• Variable workdays depending on operational needs

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor kitchen teams
• Ensure the preparation and quality of meals according to Aramark standards
• Participate in menu planning and inventory management
• Control food costs and adhere to budgets
• Maintain food safety, security, and hygiene standards
• Train and motivate team members
• Collaborate with operations to provide a quality customer experience
• Ensure the proper functioning of kitchen equipment and facilities

Qualifications Required

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a Chef position or a similar role
• Culinary training or equivalent experience
• Strong team management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work in a remote environment and on rotation
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills

The salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $70,000.00.
