What you will accomplish with us

As a Senior Technological Designer, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

Analyze business needs and translate them into technological solutions aligned with architectural guidelines.

Design robust, performant, secure, and scalable application solutions that meet the organization's needs.

Act as a technical leader for development teams and support solution delivery by ensuring compliance with quality and security standards.

Collaborate with business partners, architects, and IT teams to ensure the consistency, integrity, and viability of the designed solutions.

Participate in the continuous evolution of solutions by conducting technological monitoring, contributing to production incident resolution, and supporting deployments.

Guide teams in adopting best practices in design, development, and integration.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or any other relevant discipline.

Has over 10 years of experience in information technologies, with a minimum of 5 years as a software designer or in a similar role.

Possesses significant experience in designing technological solutions and analyzing business needs.

Is proficient in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile approaches, and DevOps practices.

Is recognized for positive leadership, collaboration, influence, and the ability to mobilize teams.

Demonstrates excellent communication, technical communication, and problem-solving skills.

Shows strong analytical skills, diligence, proactivity, and a great sense of organization.

Wishes to act as a mentor and contribute to the professional development of team members.

Has practical expertise in Salesforce, generative AI tools, or the insurance and financial services sector (asset).

Has intermediate knowledge of the English language since the person will be required to communicate with technological suppliers, consult specialized documentation, and use various tools primarily available in English on a monthly basis.
