As an Analyst – Construction Performance, within the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau, you will play a key role in the deployment, evolution, and optimal use of construction performance tracking platforms. Working on large-scale construction projects, you will act as a convergence point between field teams, pre-construction, and tracking tools, contributing to the standardization of data capture, cost tracking, performance reporting, and the capitalization of lessons learned across the organization.

This role aims to leverage data from existing systems to improve the accuracy of estimates and the operational performance of construction sites, in collaboration with the relevant teams.

What You Will Do

  • Accompany the evolution, continuous improvement, and deployment of construction productivity and performance tracking platforms, in collaboration with the relevant teams.
  • Participate in the definition of operational needs related to performance tracking, costs, and project progress.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary internal teams (construction, pre-construction, project control, PMO) during the implementation or evolution of tracking tools and processes.
  • Support construction and pre-construction teams in the use of platforms and associated processes.
  • Act as a resource person for best practices in tool usage and for resolving issues related to data quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to the improvement of construction site performance through the capture, analysis, and valorization of key data.
  • Create, structure, and maintain valuable reports, performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboards.
  • Ensure the consistency, quality, and reliability of data entered into the systems.
  • Develop expertise at the intersection of operational performance, project control, and data exploitation, in collaboration with the PMO.
  • This Position is for You If You Have
  • A degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • A good understanding of cost control in construction, performance indicators, and project financial issues.
  • Strong proficiency with computer and analysis tools (ERP, tracking platforms, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and clear, structured report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and dissemination skills with field and corporate teams.
  • A good sense of organization, diligence, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • A solutions-oriented, continuous improvement, and practice optimization approach.
  • A strong interest in construction performance and intelligent data exploitation.

Additional Assets

  • Experience in construction, pre-construction, project control, or performance analysis.
  • Experience with construction tracking or project management platforms.
  • Knowledge of the HCSS software.
