Agropur is looking for a night shift dispatch supervisor for our Quebec plant.

• Salary scale 004: $73,000 to $91,200 (The base salary will be determined based on your academic training, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

What You Will Take On Daily

The night shift dispatch supervisor plans, directs, and controls the activities of the center to ensure the distribution of dairy products to distributors and various distribution centers from a stable product supply, and on time.

• Manages the activities of the personnel under his/her supervision to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction and ensure the achievement of the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the operations action plan;
• Manages operations to be effective by analyzing already established performance indicators;
• Controls the receipt of goods, stock and inventory management and physical adjustments, refrigerator rejects, spoilage, FIFO, etc.;
• Analyzes and resolves work-related problems or helps employees resolve problems they encounter at work;
• Applies and ensures compliance with the company's procedures and methods regarding health and safety as well as the provisions of the collective agreement;
• Encourages and fosters a positive work environment, particularly by constantly trying to improve engagement and teamwork.

The profile that will take ownership of the role

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a supervisor of a unionized team;
• General knowledge of logistics and transportation (a strong asset)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Available on a night shift schedule: Monday to Friday from 00:00 to 8:00
