Could you be the full-time Overhead Controller we are looking for in St. Bruno, Canada?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and leverage your financial expertise in an advanced field. You will work with collaborative and dynamic teammates, playing a key role in supporting the headquarters of Canada and the United States. You will provide essential financial visibility and collaborate closely with department heads and executive teams to guide strategic decisions.

On a daily basis, you will work closely with the company's teams (such as support functions and operational teams), drive budgeting and forecasting processes, and much more.

You will be particularly responsible for monthly closing activities, including provisions and financial adjustments, as well as providing in-depth financial analyses to support decision-making and cost control.

• We will call on you to:
• Perform end-of-month closing activities related to general expenses and support functions.
• Prepare provisions, accounting entries, and financial adjustments/reclassifications.
• Manage intercompany transactions and allocations.
• Ensure the tracking and closing of the timesheet system.
• Guarantee precise and timely financial closing processes.
• Prepare and analyze cost center reports (actual vs. budget).
• Identify and explain discrepancies, highlighting the main factors.
• Perform staffing analyses (actual vs. budget).
• Coordinate and lead the budgeting process for support functions.
• Provide financial advice and actionable recommendations to department heads.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, control, or accounting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French and English. Bilingual French-English is required. Proficiency in another language is an asset in the context of our interactions with partners, suppliers, colleagues, and international clients. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
• A team spirit with the ability to collaborate across functions.
