Prevost, a member of the Volvo Group, is currently offering a new career opportunity as a Project Manager - Operations. The position reports to the Director of Procurement and is located at the main Sainte-Claire site.
What You Will Do
As a Project Manager - Operations at Prevost, you will be responsible for developing and executing various projects. Generally, the project manager is responsible for launching, planning, designing, implementing, monitoring, controlling, and concluding a project. This role requires strong leadership in forming an effective multidisciplinary team that carries out activities to achieve set objectives.
Your Responsibilities
- Fully responsible for the work and deliverables of assigned projects according to the QDCF specifications (quality, time, cost, characteristics) or the scope of the project;
- Develops the project scope to validate objectives, context, challenges, associated risks, budgets, and schedules related to the implementation of project activities for the mandate entrusted to them;
- Ensures compliance with the monthly planning of their team, taking into account the required budgets and deadlines;
- Exercises matrix leadership, supervises the work of project coordinators from each of the company's departments involved, motivates team members to ensure project deliverables are met;
- Supervises the resolution of major project issues and makes decisions when the team cannot reach a consensus;
- Ensures the availability of adequate resources (human, material, financial) necessary for the successful completion of the projects under their responsibility;
- Synchronizes project activities with project coordinators (CPM) of other ongoing projects;
- Represents the group to stakeholders and the management team;
- Coordinates the progress of deliverables of their projects;
- Leads one or more Kaizen initiatives aimed at identifying the problem and solution paths.

Who Are You?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, administration, or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge and experience in project and operations management in a manufacturing environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel specifically);
- Bilingual in English and French;
- Effective conflict resolution;
- Excellent communicator;
- Assertive leadership with a big-picture view and attention to detail when required;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to form effective teams in a multidisciplinary context;
- Capacity to manage risks and uncertainty.
