Job Overview
As an Analyst for our Analytical Chemistry team located at the Laval site, you will perform batch analysis tasks generated by activities in a laboratory environment compliant with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Perform analyses in a multidisciplinary laboratory, using a wide variety of techniques and activities related to their area of expertise;
- Use, calibrate, and maintain various laboratory equipment and instruments such as HPLC;
- Prepare documentation related to the activity;
- Receive, store, verify, process, and dispose of biological samples and dosage formulations for analysis;
- Participate in routine laboratory tasks, such as preparing reagents, calibrating instruments, and receiving products.
- If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you for the rest:
- AEC or DEC in Biotechnology or any other disciplines related to biological sciences;
- Team spirit with a collaborative and positive approach;
- Good observation and organizational skills;
- Open-minded and eager to learn in a laboratory environment.
Job Specific Information
- Location: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3;
- Transport: Free parking. Near Montmorency metro station. Electric vehicle charging station;
- Salary: 23.75$/hr;
- Annual performance-based bonus;
- Hours: Monday to Friday during the day. Depending on company needs, you may be required to work overtime, weekends, or holidays;
- Permanent position upon hire, full-time at 37.5 hrs per week.
