We are currently looking for a Mechanic Assistant to join our team in Lévis, Quebec, Monday to Thursday, from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Under the supervision of the supervisor, the Mechanic Assistant executes various tasks to support the maintenance teams. This position exposes the candidate to various types of maintenance on fixed or mobile equipment. An opportunity for the candidate to start a career as a Mechanic Assistant.

What you are responsible for

• Cleaning of conveyors on the production line;
• Preparing, cleaning surfaces to inspect and lubricate mechanical parts;
• Greasing equipment under the supervision of a mechanic;
• Ensuring proper use and operation of the company's equipment;
• Supporting the maintenance team in the execution of work;
• Ensuring the proper functioning of machines on the production line;
• Informing your immediate supervisor of any required action, any detected problem, or exceeding the scheduled times;
• Working safely and in accordance with the SST policies and procedures of the company;
• Performing any other related tasks.
