Erikson Consumer is looking for a motivated and analytical Product Manager to manage a portfolio of consumer technology brands in the audio, gaming, mobility, home entertainment, and automotive categories. This role is responsible for managing the product lifecycle, pricing, inventory planning, market launch strategies, and identifying new partnership opportunities with brands to support business growth.
In close collaboration with the sales, marketing, procurement, and supplier partner teams, the Product Manager will drive profitable growth through effective brand management, product launches, market analysis, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned product brands and categories throughout their lifecycle.
- Develop and implement pricing, promotion, and market launch strategies.
- Manage costs, margins, inventory, forecasts, and profitability.
- Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities with brands aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to support business decisions and acquisition opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brand partners.
- Support e-commerce initiatives, content production, and merchandising.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to drive growth and ensure product launch success.
- Participate in customer presentations, training sessions, trade shows, and industry events.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, ideally in the consumer electronics or audio industry.
- Experience in the distribution industry is strongly desired.
- Excellent understanding of pricing, inventory management, and market launch strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in commerce (B.Comm.) or a related field is an asset.
- Experience in retail and e-commerce is an asset.
- Bilingual French-English (mandatory).
