Architectural Technician
The candidate will have the primary responsibility of producing shop and production drawings for curtain wall systems—both wood and aluminum—as well as drawings for sealed units. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the candidate will work closely with the technical and engineering teams. He or she will be expected to bring practical expertise and innovation to the various design projects assigned to them. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a technical documentation and tracking system to ensure a reliable and accurate source of information during and after the completion of various contracts.
What You Will Do
- Produce shop and production drawings for curtain wall structures and sealed units;
- Maintain best practices for managing technical drawings and documents, as well as standardizing the library;
- Create and modify computer-aided designs and drawings;
- Provide technical support to employees in production, maintenance, projects, and sales;
- Participate in project meetings.
What You Need to Succeed
- Fluency in English and French; excellent oral and written communication skills
- College-level training in architectural technology or a vocational diploma in architectural drafting;
- Interest in high-efficiency building envelope products;
- Interest in creating technical details;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), Inventor (3D) (an asset), and Revit (an asset);
- Technical skills in modeling and drafting complex structures;
- Dynamic, good judgment, attention to detail, and meticulousness;
- Good communicator and must enjoy working in a team.

- The expected Base Salary Range: $55 000 - $77 800 - The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
