Summary of Responsibilities and General Job Description

As an Automation Analyst at GSK, the Automation Analyst is responsible for configuring changes to SCADA and various automated equipment (ATS). He acts as an expert in the field of automation and programmer of automated systems.
- Act as a technical expert to resolve issues and provide advice and solutions to various departments for investigations or process improvement (CAPA);
- Participate in automation projects at the monitoring level of subcontractors (technical and regulatory aspects) and configure systems himself, ensuring compliance with the procedures associated with automation;
- Identify and implement technical solutions to ensure data integrity on automated equipment at the site (access management, GMP data, SCADA backups, production reports, databases);
- Configure and support the production network (OT network), servers, switches, and manufacturer-specific networks;
- Provide technical advice for the development of preventive maintenance programs, to which he/she will also participate in execution;
- Evaluate the technical qualifications of subcontractors by conducting on-site and remote checks regarding traceability, compliance with standards, and the use of good automation practices;
- Interact with the Global Automation group in the context of specific technical interventions involving equipment in the serialization and automated visual inspection processes;
- Communicate with technical experts from different equipment and component manufacturers to discuss automation-specific technical aspects;
- Participate as an expert in corporate and regulatory inspections;
- Participate, review, and write various BPF documents and participate in their execution (URS, FS, FT, CT, CC, IQ, OQ);
- Call to act as a trainer and/or instructor in the context of GMP training (in his/her area of specialization);
- Participate in the follow-up of performance indicators of various Production sectors.
- Perform all other tasks related to his/her functions.

- Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (automation profile).
Experience
- 2 years of experience in the field of automation and programming of automated systems, software (Siemens) and programming of automated systems: (Rockwell systems (mainly RS500, RS5000, Factory Talk), Allen-Bradley, Siemens as an asset, GE IFIX).
- Computer skills: Intermediate level (Office Suite)
- Will be considered as an asset:
Electrical and control knowledge; General computer/networking knowledge; SAP or ERP systems knowledge; Engineer's degree
Specific Requirements for the Position

- English: Intermediate
Note: Candidates will be subject to an English test and an exam validating automation knowledge.
