Responsibilities

  • The design, prototyping, selection, and integration of various components used to implement complex telecom systems (cloud and hosted), or networking products.
  • The design, prototyping, selection, and integration of various components used to implement complete IT infrastructure from Operating System imaging process to users management in a domain environment.
  • Participate in engineering solutions to technical problems and unique situations.
  • Contribute to system architecture design and assist with product prototyping.
  • Contribute to the design, planning and implementation of critical network infrastructure for bare metal or cloud-based solutions.
  • Design software applications / solutions for on Linux and / or Windows platforms.
  • Develop, design, troubleshoot, maintain scripts to automate configuration and platform. management tasks using various scripting languages.
  • Manage source code and tickets with GIT/JIRA.
  • Attend meetings, report progress, take technical ownership of assigned design work.

Requirements

  • IP network design, configuration, and maintenance experience.
  • Proficient with Windows 10+, Windows Server 2016+.
  • Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian).
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms: VMWare ESXi, Proxmox, Dockers, etc.
  • Experience with PowerShell, lua, bash, scripting languages.
  • Understanding VoIP technologies and protocols is an asset.
  • General understanding of Agile Methodology.
  • Self-starter, positive work ethic, dynamic personality.
  • Comfortable in a hybrid remote and on-site team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English or French, bilingual an asset).

Education

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
