Truck Driver (Front or Side Loader)

Are you skilled at driving large trucks and eager to serve the community for an essential need? We have a job for you!

We are currently looking for full-time truck drivers (40 hours per week) to operate front or side loader trucks. These are temporary positions, but you won't be short of work with us! Plus, you'll always stay within the territory of the City of Quebec.

THE CHALLENGES

As a truck driver, you will have the opportunity to work with a team that prioritizes the safety of its employees and the service to citizens. You will be responsible for collecting residual materials such as garbage, leaves, and recyclables for various clients - residential, commercial, or industrial.

You will drive a front or side loader truck equipped with an automated arm. You will also manually remove household, commercial, or industrial waste.

You may also be called upon to perform other tasks or occasionally work in other divisions of the City, such as public works or leisure.

To Join Our Team, You Must

• Hold a valid Class 3 driver's license and have a clean driving record - this is the foundation!
• Have experience driving various heavy vehicles;
• Three (3) months of experience operating a front or side loader truck would be an asset;
• Hold a high school diploma;
• Enjoy driving and be concerned about serving citizens;
• Be able to perform tasks requiring repetitive physical strength;
• Be willing to work outside in various weather conditions;
• Commit to working safely at all times;
• Possess appropriate personal qualities such as politeness, diplomacy, and courtesy.

You will need to obtain the "General Health and Safety on Construction Sites" card, required for the position.

NOTE

When you are called for an interview, you must present a copy of your SAAQ driving record, which you can obtain from the SAAQ website.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Side Loader Truck Driver:

Hourly wage of $33.35 with a schedule of 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Front Loader Truck Driver:

Hourly wage of $34.23 with a schedule of 4 days a week from Monday to Friday - Wednesday off
