• Your role within our team

As an Agronomist or Urban Planner, the person will act as a project manager in the preparation of applications for authorization with the Quebec Agricultural Land Protection Commission (CPTAQ), as well as in the supervision, supervision, and agricultural monitoring for various projects.

Responsibilities related to the position

• Write project notices or environmental authorization requests (MELCCFP) or CPTAQ request;
• Manage files with authorities such as the CPTAQ;
• Write technical reports in relation to environmental regulations;
• Write agricultural studies, agricultural monitoring/supervision reports;
• Compile and analyze data from soil, water samples, etc.;
• Defend technical positions in the context of hearings or public consultations;
• Establish diagnostics and elaborate recommendations by writing reports;
• Prepare service offers;
• Ensure planning, budgets, and schedules;
• Act as a technical expert in agronomy and support for the company's projects;
• Work in collaboration with all departments of the company for the realization of projects;
• Promote and apply the health and safety at work prevention program.

Requirements and education

• Bachelor's degree in agronomy or a related field;
• Member of a professional order (an asset);
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience;
• Excellent mastery of French, both spoken and written;
• Ability to popularize information and produce quality technical deliverables;
• Strong relational skills and developed team spirit;
• Autonomy, rigor, initiative, and attention to detail;
• Experience in project management (budget and schedule tracking, multidisciplinary coordination);
• Good knowledge of the Quebec regulatory framework, particularly in relation to the Quebec Agricultural Land Protection Commission;
• Experience with CPTAQ files (major asset);
• Knowledge of the construction industry and tendering (asset);
• Excellent mastery of Microsoft Office suite;
• Valid driver's license and availability for fieldwork.
