Key Information

Location: 125 rue d'Anvers, ... QC G3A 1S5

Hours: Monday to Friday, from 5:30 AM until the end of deliveries (usually between 3 PM and 5 PM)

Salary: Starting at $23.32/hour (rate and a half after 40 hours)

Annual Bonus: Up to $1,200

Status: Permanent | Full-Time

Your Role

As a Delivery Assistant, you play a crucial role in delivering construction materials to job sites in the Greater Quebec area. Working with the driver, you participate in unloading and handling various products, including gypsum boards and other construction materials, while contributing to a safe and high-quality service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and active days. You primarily work outdoors and proudly represent Lefebvre & Benoit by providing professional, courteous, and attentive service to our customers.

Your Daily Tasks

• Handle, in teams of two or more, gypsum boards, wooden framing, steel beams, and other construction materials
• Protect materials with tarps during inclement weather
• Verify that delivered quantities match orders
• Collaborate with your team on various job sites in Greater Montreal and the surrounding areas
• Provide professional and attentive service to customers
• Ensure the safety of maneuvers during deliveries
• Assist the team with any other related tasks

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to regularly handle loads of at least 50 lbs and work standing for extended periods
• Valid Class 5 driver's license (you may be called to drive a company vehicle to a job site)
• Enjoy physical work and teamwork
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and availability for overtime
• Have experience in a similar role (an asset)
• Be familiar with construction materials (an asset)
• Hold or be in the process of obtaining the ASP Construction card (an asset)
• Be available for early morning work hours and overtime as needed
