We are looking for an experienced project manager to join the Quebec team in materials engineering. You will support an expanding team with site meetings, report submissions, billing, and kick-off meetings.

By joining a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, you will participate in large-scale projects in the fields of road infrastructure, buildings, and civil engineering works. You will be at the heart of innovation in materials quality control and technical project management.

You will perform a variety of tasks and assume the following responsibilities:

  • Site Coordination: Ensure the coordination of inspections and the verification of construction and renovation work. Participate in site meetings, manage human resources and operational activities of the team.
  • Improvement and Innovation: Contribute to technological monitoring and analysis of best practices. Prepare and validate project-specific test protocols, standardize quality procedures, and propose innovative solutions in response to identified gaps.
  • Technical Analysis: Write detailed reports with recommendations, interpret laboratory and field test results, adjust methods or materials, and resolve technical issues on site.
  • Project Management: Lead quality control mandates, monitor work execution, manage non-conformities and corrective actions, and validate solutions on site.
  • Financial and Operational Tracking: Control costs, optimize profitability, ensure accurate billing, and supervise technical personnel assigned to sites.
  • Client Relations: Support commercial managers in client relationship management, use tracking tools to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
  • To succeed in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, or construction engineering;
  • Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in soil and materials engineering;
  • Membership in the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec for a minimum of 3 years;
  • Proficiency in French both orally and in writing;
  • Hold the ASP Construction card;
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Work organization, autonomy, resourcefulness, team spirit.
