Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect ensures that the IT strategy is aligned with the organization's mission. Analyzes the properties of the organization as well as the external environment and defines all business needs. As an IT strategist, the Enterprise Architect has the most comprehensive view of the organization and knowledge of its technological capabilities and potential.

In this role, strategic and analytical thinking is as important as exceptional non-technical skills.

Activities to Perform

• Develop IT strategies and define organizational technology goals;
• Lead normalization and guide technological decisions for the organization by introducing effective IT strategies;
• Analyze current trends in technological architecture and train technical departments on new frameworks and best practices;
• Design an IT roadmap, creating a bridge between context and concept;
• Determine how artificial intelligence and new technologies can be used to create an organizational advantage;
• Ensure the right organizational infrastructure is created and that new applications meet all standards and are compliant with the organization's integrity, while addressing their own challenges;
• Handle all technical questions such as the application lifecycle and technological environments;
• Develop a good understanding of all organizational software and technological trends;
• Align strategic goals and orientations with technological goals and the organization's IT infrastructure;
• Understand how the organization's technological framework can lead to desired goals;
• Analyze and synthesize information through metamodels and architecture diagrams that reveal operational gaps;
• Evaluate possible applications for integration and compliance with business and commercial standards;
• Write requests for proposals.

Requirements

1. Hold a bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or pure and applied sciences; 2. Possess 15 years of experience in the field of information resources; 3. Possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as an integration architect, including 2 years of experience as an enterprise architect in the definition and implementation of strategies; 4. Have participated in 1 mandate as an enterprise architect in a comparable or larger government organizational environment than that of the client;

Assets: 1. Experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability (security); 2. Experience in the implementation of cloud-based solutions.
