Grandmont et Fils Ltée is a bridge and viaduct builder across Quebec for over 60 years. With its recognized expertise, the company is experiencing significant growth.

To support this expansion, we are expanding our team in Quebec and opening a new position for a Project Manager. You will play a key role in the realization of major projects, in alignment with our organizational objectives.

Do you want to contribute to concrete and sustainable projects across Quebec?

Here are the main challenges we propose to you

  • Plan human resources, equipment, and materials needed for project realization;
  • Develop schedules, monitor progress and budgets, and adjust work methods to achieve objectives;
  • Design, validate, and monitor technical drawings of works;
  • Monitor ongoing contracts and quickly intervene in case of unforeseen events;
  • Conduct frequent follow-ups with clients, particularly regarding payment requests;
  • Approve invoices;
  • Coordinate subcontractors;
  • Confirm the presence of workers on construction sites;
  • Participate in contract and amendment negotiations with partners and suppliers;
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and health and safety standards;
  • Mentor and support interns;
  • Participate in internal audits and update the quality management system;
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement and research and development activities;
  • Support the proposal team in preparing offers, bringing a field and operational perspective;

Your profile matches what we are looking for if you have

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering;
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ);
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Good knowledge of MTQ's CCDG standards;
  • Experience in the construction of works of art (an asset);
  • Excellent mastery of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Proficiency in MS Project, TPL, and AutoCAD software (an asset);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Rigor, attention to detail, and sense of organization;
