We are expanding our national AI marketing program to help our clients' teams generate, shape, and win AI-related mandates in priority sectors and accounts. Reporting to the AI Team's General Management, the selected Director, Sales Support will implement marketing plans, create highly effective sales support content, and translate market demand into measurable projects and revenue by working with sectoral, alliance, account, and prospecting teams.
KPMG places importance on in-person collaboration. As required by the firm, the selected candidate will meet stakeholders in person at the nearest KPMG office.
Sales Support
- Prepare sales documents – create presentations, one-page documents, and discussion points tailored to priority sectors and buyer profiles. Support structured initiatives for strategic accounts using customized content for client conversations.
- Develop skills – maintain centralized skill profiles (case studies, references, mandate summaries) and coordinate updates with sectoral, alliance, and service teams to ensure up-to-date and compelling experiences.
- Create service offering content – design and maintain AI service offering content templates by proposing narratives, differentiation factors, and value cases; gather relevant use cases by sector and winning themes; align templates with brand, risks, and pricing.
- Prepare guidance documents – collaborate with Marketing to create firm or alliance partner sales-ready resources.
- Resource governance – establish version controls and quality standards for AI marketing materials (offer summaries, tactical notebooks, presentations, demos) to ensure reuse of existing content and national uniformity.
Support AI Marketing Strategy
- Implement the plan – manage end-to-end initiatives to support the national AI marketing strategy, ensuring timely delivery of documents and projects.
- Support the AI marketing team – work with the AI marketing lead to schedule meetings, prepare reports, and determine actions to take.
- Feedback – gather insights on wins and losses and engagement feedback to refine offers, messages, and sales support needs; communicate these insights to marketing, alliance, and solution leaders.
Revenue Growth and Project Management
- Create opportunities – collaborate with account teams to identify and seize AI-related opportunities and entry points (workshops, pilot projects, assessments) that accelerate demand.
- Present project information – own the national vision of AI projects, structure dashboards, track the portfolio of projects generated or completed by the team, monitor project status and conversion, and regularly publish reports that present actions to take.
- Forecast accuracy – ensure proper management of AI labels and attributes related to customer relationship management to ensure accuracy of reports and attributions; coordinate writing definitions and design controls with finance and operations teams.
Within the AI and Digital Technology Optimization team, collaborate closely with marketing, prospecting, and service offering teams, national AI marketing leadership, account directors, sector leaders, alliance partners, and service delivery leaders to execute a uniform and fast-paced program across all regions. This role relies on our governance and AI marketing practice communities to stay aligned and amplify our results.
What You Bring to the Role
- Essential
- 5 to 8 years of experience in marketing, sales support, prospecting, and service offering, product marketing in professional services or intercompany technology; proven ability to support lead generation programs and advance opportunities to revenue realization.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA or equivalent experience, an asset).
- Demonstrated ability to create content to fuel service offerings and winning arguments as well as skill profile libraries; editorial sense and ability to tell stories.
- Knowledge of AI and data analytics concepts, and how buyers adopt AI (use case formulation, value hypotheses, risks, and ethical use).
- Business and revenue generation sense – tracking projects, progressing from one stage to the next, forecasting pace, using dashboards, business intelligence, and healthy customer relationship management.
- Orchestration of stakeholders within national, sectoral, and alliance teams; ease of functioning in a matrix with visibility of executives.
- Excellent communication (written, visual, and verbal) and ability to translate complex AI subjects into client value.
- Portfolio of service offering and sales documents and examples of project reports or marketing dashboards, an asset.
- Assets
- Experience in adapting AI service offerings by sector or function; with alliance ecosystems and co-marketing and co-selling mechanisms.
- Practical experience with service offering tools and content libraries; knowledge of workflows related to branding and content creation. Practical knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and customer relationship management reports (e.g., Salesforce) for establishing pools and attribution.
This position requires proficiency in written and spoken English. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting HR operations at the national level and will need to work and communicate with English-speaking colleagues. This person will communicate processes to employees in English-speaking provinces.
Salary Scale – Ontario
The base salary scale for this position is $74,000 to $111,000, and bonuses may apply. A candidate's or candidate's compensation is determined based on their location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to compensation, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits program.
