We are currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Accounts Payable Service Manager at the Financial Resources Department.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Financial Operations, the incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling all activities and resources related to the management of their service.
In the context of the implementation of Santé Québec in December 2024, in collaboration with other managers in the Financial Resources Department, the incumbent will actively participate in standardizing practices and work tools to ensure the completeness of financial data for each periodic closure and to monitor appropriate internal control mechanisms.
Specifically, the incumbent must:
Establish close collaboration with the Procurement Service to maintain a low level of disputed invoices and optimize invoice processing within prescribed deadlines. To achieve these objectives, they will initiate process reviews, propose and implement the selected solutions, and monitor the performance indicators in place for their service.
Additionally, maximizing the functionalities of the accounting system and Power BI will require special attention to optimize the use of our resources.

- Ensures the management, mobilization, and development of the team by fostering a healthy and collaborative work environment;
- Participates in recruitment, integration, evaluation, and recognition of staff;
- Proactively intervenes in performance management issues, succession planning, and talent retention;
- Contributes to the development, monitoring, and analysis of the budget for their sector, ensuring optimal use of resources;
- Implements and supports practices that promote risk prevention and maintain a safe and compliant work environment in accordance with applicable standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, administration, or another discipline related to the function;
- Significant professional experience in a supervisory role related to the covered activities;
- Excellent understanding of the healthcare and social services sector, its administration, and its legal framework;
- Significant experience in coordinating major reorganization and change projects (merger of multi-mission facilities, implementation of performance processes) is an asset;
- Membership in good standing with the Order of Certified Professional Accountants of Quebec (CPA) is an asset.
