The Vehicle Equipment Management Centre (CGER) is a general direction that falls under the sub-ministry for support to operations and civil security (SMSESC) of the Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility (the Ministry). The organization's mission is to provide public organizations in Quebec with complete fleet management services, according to the best business practices, with a perspective of resource optimization and sustainable development. The CGER's clientele includes ministries, cities and municipalities, public organizations, the health and social services network, the education network, and the federal government.

The CGER relies on the collaboration of approximately 400 employees to fulfill its mission and has a network of 57 mechanics workshops spread across the entire Quebec territory. It manages a fleet of over 10,000 vehicles and related equipment.

• Prepare and assemble new vehicles (electrical wiring, installation of various components);
