Overview

As part of this two-year program, you will develop a deep and practical understanding of accounting by assuming a different role each year.

In addition to your core accounting tasks, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in data analysis, learning to transform financial and operational data into actionable insights using tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL. You will also develop practical knowledge of SAP, including participating in the implementation of S/4HANA—a unique opportunity to familiarize yourself with modern enterprise systems and the digital transformation of the finance function. At the end of the program, you will join a permanent position within one of our financial teams—laying the foundation for a long-term career at Bombardier.

Internal Audit / Data Analysis

  • Contribute to data analysis initiatives aimed at improving audit efficiency and enhancing decision-making information;
  • Design and deploy automated solutions and business intelligence tools to optimize audit processes;
  • Collaborate independently with other departments to collect data and identify weaknesses in internal controls;
  • Perform audit assignments and conduct financial control tests, with a focus on risk management and continuous improvement.

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Monitor and continuously analyze cash flows, with particular attention to customer advances;
  • Support a team of financial analysts responsible for accounting for aircraft sales;
  • Prepare weekly financial reports for senior management;
  • Collaborate with contract managers to anticipate customer receivables and identify risks and opportunities.

Aircraft Contract Management

  • Manage the entire financial process related to aircraft sales, including profitability analysis and transaction recording;
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and provide detailed financial analyses on sales;
  • Contribute to the development of the strategic plan, annual budget, and periodic forecasts;
  • Develop new performance indicators to support sales analysis.

Management Accounting – Aircraft Manufacturing

  • Analyze raw material and work-in-progress stocks, as well as obsolescence provisions;
  • Utilize SAP to analyze data and optimize work-in-progress related to the new assembly line;
  • Participate in month-end closing activities and management control processes.

  • You have completed your undergraduate degree;
  • You are pursuing the CPA or CFA designation;
  • You are organized and manage your time effectively;
  • You have the ability to quickly learn new systems and functionalities in an ever-evolving environment;
  • You have strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word);
  • You demonstrate a strong team spirit and analytical, leadership, and flexibility skills;
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills;
  • You are a team player;
  • You demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively;
  • You have good oral and written communication skills in both French and English;
  • You may be required to travel;
  • You are eligible to work in Canada;
