• As a senior business analyst specializing in AI, you will be called upon to:
• Support clients in identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing opportunities for using artificial intelligence.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, gather and analyze business needs, and organizational challenges.
• Define roadmaps, directions, and strategic recommendations in the field of artificial intelligence and generative AI.
• Contribute to the development of governance frameworks, guiding principles, and best practices promoting responsible use of AI.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, developers, cybersecurity experts, and governance specialists to design solutions tailored to business needs.
• Participate in the definition of functional and non-functional requirements for AI solutions.
• Evaluate the quality, relevance, and governance of data used by artificial intelligence solutions.
• Contribute to initiatives using large language models (LLM), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approaches, and generative AI platforms.
• Participate in the analysis of legal, ethical, technological, and organizational risks associated with artificial intelligence projects.
• Produce analyses, decision-making documents, executive presentations, and recommendations for the executive team.
• Stay informed about best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in artificial intelligence.

Qualifications Required to Succeed in This Role

• University degree or DEC in administration, finance, computer science, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Knowledge of insurance processes (underwriting, claims, pricing).
• Ability to write business cases and functional specifications.
• Proficiency in modeling and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, BPMN).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in French and good knowledge of English (asset).
• We are looking for a person who has:
• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in information technology.
• Significant experience in artificial intelligence projects, particularly in generative AI or machine learning.
• Strong experience in business analysis, needs definition, and strategic support.
• Good understanding of large language models (LLM), RAG solutions, and generative AI platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI principles.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills across different management levels.
• Recognized ability to influence decisions, facilitate workshops, and mobilize multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent proficiency in French, both oral and written.
• The following will be considered assets:
• Experience within large organizations.
• Participation in digital transformation projects.
• Experience in implementing AI governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of Azure AI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or other enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience with Agile approaches (Scrum, SAFe).

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particulars of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $80,000 and $155,000. This position is open.
