Here's what your daily life would look like in our team...
Under the supervision and in collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, the person assumes functions of managing activities, operations and resources of the labor relations and work conditions management sector for the various categories of support staff. They also play a consultative and supportive role to various stakeholders in the application of collective agreements, labor laws and best practices to ensure healthy labor relations within the organization.
More specifically, the person will be called upon to
- Provide consultative support to the management and supervisors on all issues related to labor relations and work conditions management for the various categories of support staff;
- Interpret and apply collective agreements, regulations and labor laws;
- Represent the College on Labor Relations Committees and maintain relations with Unions;
- Negotiate locally on agreements related to the application of collective agreements;
- Support managers and ensure the implementation of disciplinary and administrative measures;
- Negotiate grievance regulations or disputes and prepare files for arbitration tribunals or other bodies;
- Supervise the production and distribution of seniority lists, employment priority lists and information lists to unions;
- Coordinate activities related to union releases for the categories of staff under their responsibility;
- Manage the application of work conditions for support staff (granting of job security, leaves, work schedule adjustment programs, service loans, etc.);
- Manage the application and follow-up of the support staff evaluation process;
- Ensure the management and supervision of people under their responsibility;
- Manage budgets and action plans under their responsibility;
- Optimize the organization of work, processes, practices and procedures in their sector through continuous improvement management;
- Participate in the management of the direction in the elaboration, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs, priorities, etc.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations;
- Five (5) years of relevant experience;
- At least two (2) years of experience in management;
- Knowledge of the legal framework and ability to interpret and apply collective agreements;
- Good knowledge of the collegial environment (an asset);
- Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written;
- Ability to work effectively with Microsoft 365 and its collaborative tools.

Post of cadre attached to a classification 7 with a salary scale ranging from $96,482 to $128,642
Full-time replacement until June 30, 2027
Interviews will take place on August 21 and/or 24, 2026 and psychometric tests in the week of August 24, 2026
