In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of our labor relations practices and support managers in situations that require HR expertise.

Your role at Trudel

In collaboration with the HR team, you will act as a partner to managers to support them in their decisions regarding employees and teams. You will intervene in a variety of situations, from preventing issues to resolving more complex situations, while contributing to structuring our ways of doing things.

Your responsibilities

  • Support managers in their labor relations issues and guide them in their interventions with their teams.
  • Support employees in situations requiring HR support.
  • Assess situations, identify issues, and recommend appropriate action plans.
  • Intervene in conflict, incivility, harassment, or inappropriate behavior cases.
  • Conduct necessary investigations and ensure rigorous follow-up of cases.
  • Advise managers on disciplinary, administrative, and termination procedures.
  • Monitor labor standards and support managers in their application.
  • Participate in the creation and improvement of HR policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Develop tools and training to support management practices.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety Director in the deployment of prevention initiatives.
  • The expertise you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a labor relations advisory role.
  • Good knowledge of labor standards and obligations applicable to employers.
  • Experience in managing disciplinary cases, investigations, and supporting managers.
  • Proficiency in writing HR documents and structuring management tools.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices at work.
