The salary of the selected candidate will be determined based on a set of factors, including: professional experience, skills, anticipated contribution to the position, internal equity, etc. The salary scale presented above is for a 35-hour workweek and may apply to the majority of different candidate profiles, but we encourage candidates outside this salary range to apply.

About the Position

We are looking for a high-caliber Unit Director for our growing team!

What You Will Accomplish With Us

  • Contribute to the achievement of corporate and regional objectives by measuring the performance of your team, ensuring the quality of claim processing, compliance with standards, procedures, and productivity.
  • Manage your team's activities by organizing, planning, and controlling the optimal use of human, financial, and material resources according to the budget, while fostering teamwork and directing their technical training.
  • Participate in the improvement of operational processes.
  • Make decisions for your team regarding the processing of claims and the payment of indemnities in compliance with the company's standards.
  • Promote the brand image and business principles to partners.
  • Conduct audits of active cases throughout the year.

What You Will Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as an expert
  • At least 2 years of team management experience
  • Hold a claim expert certification
  • In-depth knowledge of personal and business insurance, as well as liability
  • Optimal computer system skills and knowledge
  • Concern for people
  • Bilingual (French and English) Necessity to interact regularly with colleagues across the country
