Your mandate:

Reporting to the Head of Service, IT Business Relations, and as part of the development of a parking tariff and regulation management application and a mobility data mapping product, both developed in Agile/Scrum mode, you will be responsible for the product backlogs.

Your challenges

• Define, manage, and prioritize the product backlog with your clients and document the user stories;
• Present and facilitate client meetings to better understand the business domain and various needs, and track the project;
• Assist the client in developing the project scope;
• Understand the client's needs while having an overall view of the development initiatives;
• Maximize the business value delivered to the client and effectively communicate the vision, business objectives, and project scope to the team;
• Make decisions regarding the product that may impact the project scope;
• Advise the client and propose solutions to various needs and problems;
• Master Agile (Scrum) principles and actively participate in various Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, etc.);
• Collaborate with the development team, analysts, and all stakeholders;
• Write progress reports, manage change requests, and ensure project profitability;
• Be responsible for managing the budget associated with product development;
• Regularly and transparently communicate the team's progress to stakeholders based on real product backlog data;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Your profile

• Hold a university degree in computer science, information technology, administration, or any other relevant field;
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in information technology, including 5 years as a Product Owner;
• Have experience on mobile, web, and web service development projects with multiple stakeholders, in Agile/Scrum mode;
• Have knowledge of project management;
• Hold a PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) certification, an asset;
• Be familiar with the Azure DevOps platform, an asset;
• Have proficiency in French, both orally and in writing;
• Be client-oriented;
• Demonstrate leadership, relational, and communication skills.
