Description

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Managed Infrastructure Services team. The person will be responsible for supporting, administering, monitoring, securing, and improving several clients' technological environments.

The position involves managing environments such as Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, virtualization, backups, security, monitoring, automation, networking, and ITSM tools.

Experience in a multi-client, MSP, NOC, or managed services context is strongly desired. The person must be comfortable with ticket management, prioritization, SLAs, escalations, and ITIL processes, particularly with Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM) / Jira and Confluence.

Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation is mandatory.

Knowledge of security and governance requirements related to ISO/IEC 27001 is an asset, particularly for documentation, access management, traceability, vulnerability management, security controls, and audit preparation.

The person must also possess strong enterprise networking skills: VLAN, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, DNS, DHCP, network diagnostics, and documentation. Experience with Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba/HPE, Ubiquiti UniFi, Juniper, Extreme, SonicWall, or equivalents will be considered a significant asset.

We are looking for an autonomous, meticulous, client-oriented person capable of managing multiple environments simultaneously and contributing to a reliable, secure, compliant, and professional service.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and monitor several clients' technological infrastructures in a managed services context.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, changes, and problems via Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM) / Jira.
  • Process tickets according to priorities, internal procedures, service agreements, and client SLAs.
  • Apply ITIL processes related to incident, request, change, problem, knowledge, escalation, and major incident management.
  • Participate in change management, ensuring interventions are documented, approved, planned, communicated, and executed according to established procedures.
  • Document interventions, diagnostics, root causes, applied fixes, and recommendations in appropriate ITSM tools.
  • Maintain reliable technical documentation in Confluence, a knowledge base, or any other documentary repository.
  • Administer Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, virtualization, storage, backups, and security solutions.
  • Monitor critical services, respond to alerts, analyze performance trends, and propose preventive improvements.
  • Automate recurring tasks with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with network, security, service desk, project, architecture, compliance, account management, and external vendor teams.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement plans.

  • Target Profile

Intermediate to senior-level Systems Administrator (5 to 10 years of experience), comfortable in MSP/multi-client environments.

Capable of working with ITIL processes, ISO 27001 requirements, Jira Service Management tools, and a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Strong skills in infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, monitoring, automation, and networking.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particularities of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $60,000 and $120,000. This position is open.
