The Vehicle Equipment Management Centre (VEMC) is a general direction that falls under the sub-ministry for support to operations and civil security (SMSESC) of the Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility (the Ministry). The organization's mission is to provide public organizations in Quebec with complete fleet management services, according to the best business practices, in an optimization of resources and sustainable development perspective. The VEMC's clientele includes ministries, cities and municipalities, public organizations, the health and social services network, the education network, and the federal government.

The VEMC relies on the collaboration of approximately 400 employees to fulfill its mission and has a network of 57 mechanics workshops spread across the entire Quebec territory. It manages a fleet of over 10,000 vehicles and related equipment.

• Salary:

29.85 $ per hour * A 15% attraction and retention bonus will be added to the salary.

The salary scale can be viewed on the Treasury Board Secretariat website. At the time of hiring, the step will be determined based on the candidate's experience.
