The cashier, under the supervision of the management team, is responsible for welcoming customers with courtesy and enthusiasm while processing the required transactions to complete customers' purchases.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate the cash register and process customer transactions quickly and efficiently;
• Stay up-to-date with the store's policies and procedures to handle all types of transactions according to Aubainerie's standards;
• Communicate current and upcoming promotions and events to customers to maximize sales and increase foot traffic;
• Act at all times as an ambassador of excellence in the quality of customer service by applying Aubainerie's standards;
• Thank all customers upon their departure;
• Be sensitive to internal theft and shoplifting and participate in preventing them by respecting the policies;
• Fill, place, and replace cash register materials to ensure they are always available and in sufficient quantity;
• Participate in the maintenance and upkeep of the cash register to ensure it always reflects the image of Aubainerie;
• Make price changes quickly and accurately and handle tasks with the necessary attention to avoid errors;
• Respect safety standards in handling money;
• Perform replacements in other departments, labeling of clothing, and filling of cash register displays when no customers are present at the registers;
• Perform any other related tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES

• Less than 12 months of experience in a similar role;
• Experience in handling money and operating cash registers;
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service;
• Meticulousness and attention to detail;
• Energy and dynamism.
