Job Description About the Role

As a sales associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers in your store to dynamically sell our products and offer customer support and advice. You will use your knowledge of fashion and products to provide our customers with all the relevant information they need to offer the best possible experience. You will also work on the restocking and maintenance of clothing, their presentation, and contribute to the cleanliness of the sales floor and backroom, working closely with the rest of your store team to offer an excellent customer experience.

A Typical Day

Working at H&M means that no two days are the same, but a typical day includes the following responsibilities*.

*Customer Sales and Profit*

• Provide excellent customer service: welcome and guide customers through the store and, if applicable, during the OMNI experience, and assist with direct customer service.
• Willingness to engage and discuss with customers to offer excellent service.
• Guide customers through fashion trends, stories, and products in all areas of the store.
• Ability to promote and sell our products to customers.
• Actively promote our customer loyalty application (Bonjour Membre) and sustainable development initiatives in-store.
• Give a positive image of yourself and the H&M brand during all interactions with customers.
• Support commercial or operational actions to achieve sales goals alongside the store management team.
• *Fashion and Trends Knowledge*
• Stay up-to-date with the fashion industry, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers, etc.
• Use your knowledge of products and fashion to share relevant information with customers.
• *Team and Growth*
• Maintain and share with your colleagues your knowledge and skills in service, fashion, and store operations.
• Follow all procedures, operational routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.
• Give and receive feedback from your colleagues to learn, grow, and support each other.
• Participate in onboarding and presentation processes, training, and courses necessary for your role and development.
• *Retail Management/Visual and Commercial Presentation Execution*
• Perform the complete cycle of clothing management, unpacking, and restocking, steaming, and ensure proper maintenance of these.
• Manage the fitting room and checkout areas according to exemplary practices and processes.
• Contribute to the cleanliness and order of the sales floor and backroom (including warehouses).
• Support the presentation of clothing, execution, and maintenance of an attractive display of merchandise, trends, and clear stories, according to visual and commercial directives.
• Maintain a good level of merchandise through sales floor replenishment routines.
• Maintain and follow excellence practices for all OMNI services in-store and in-store technical services/tools, etc. (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.).
• Provide support for store opening and closing.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and applicable legal requirements for the role and responsibilities.

• You have experience in customer service in the fashion, retail, or related services sectors.
