Civil Engineering Technician

A CONCRETE AND REWARDING JOB

Under the direction of the Director of Public Works, the Civil Engineering Technician is at the heart of the projects undertaken by the City of Roberval. In this role, you will perform tasks related to surveying, topography, and taking various technical measurements during work on our sewer, water supply, and road networks, as well as on certain urban development projects.

Not only will you have to ensure the technical supervision of these construction sites, but you will also have to control the quality of the materials used. Finally, using specialized computer tools, you will have to prepare civil engineering and building plans.

Demonstrating good judgment, you are able to quickly process multiple pieces of information and visualize the effects of your decisions. In addition to holding a college diploma in civil engineering technology or an equivalent, you have a minimum of five years of experience in the field of civil engineering. Finally, your mastery of the AutoCAD, Civil 3D, aquaGEO, and Total Station software is undeniable.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $26.51 to $44.63 per hour
