Department Manager - Clothing

Under the supervision of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, the Department Manager performs a variety of support functions for managers. In addition to advising customers, he acts as a resource on the floor for inventory management and ensures the rotation of items according to sales and seasons of the year.

*Main Functions*

Prepare the sales report and ensure that sold items are restocked on the floor.

Ensure that the helmets and shoes racks are filled and that all models are well represented (unisex models must be represented in the women's section as well).

Ensure that the sunglasses display is well merchandised and verify that all models are on the tables and not in the drawers.

Fill the nutrition section.

Replace clothing by size order.

Communicate with the buyer when inventories are low (allow a 1 to 2 week lead time for restocking of clothing).

Evaluate the walls and islands and with your manager, make a plan for a rotation of clothing.

Ensure that the right products are on the floor with the current season.

Tag the sales.

Replace the sales sections by sizes.

Qualifications

1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position, or relevant experience.

Good knowledge of cycling clothing.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, an asset.

Compensation: Starting at $16.60 per hour
