About Us

Villa Espace-Vie TSA is an innovative and compassionate living environment designed to support adults with high-functioning autism towards sustainable well-being.

Here, every intervention is based on a unique approach combining anxiety prevention, self-determination, and personal growth.

Thanks to a structured and calming environment - including nature, comfortable apartments in shared housing of three people, and a day activity center, music therapy, zoo therapy, and adapted activities - we create a space where each person can evolve at their own pace, in complete safety.

Your Role

As a well-being companion at Villa Espace-Vie TSA, you provide essential support to the specialized educators of the Villa and the well-being of the residents.

You contribute to offering them a secure, structured, and stimulating framework.

Responsibilities

• Assist specialized educators in the implementation and conduct of daily living and household activities.
• Provide support to residents in the realization of their daily living and household activities, including hygiene, meal assistance, transportation, and participation in activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times. Work closely with educators, the Day Activity Center team, and other involved professionals.
• Help with the arrangement of spaces, preparation of materials for activities, and maintain a clean, orderly, and well-being-friendly environment.
• Be attentive to the needs of residents, provide a response to their needs, and report any relevant information to the team.

Desired Profile

• High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
• Experience in supporting autistic individuals or people with special needs (an asset). Technical and relational skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with specialized educators.
• Patience, empathy, and ability to interact with individuals with particular challenges.
• Sense of observation and ability to adjust one's approach according to the needs of residents.
• Reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and commitment to one's role.
• Ability to adapt and manage stress in a structured environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Saturday and Sunday.
• Work location: In-person at Villa Espace-Vie TSA, 4854 rue St-Félix in St-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
• Salary: $20/hour.
