The Opportunity

The Environmental Management team is looking for a Project Controller to support project managers in the financial and administrative management of projects. You will play a key role in ensuring rigorous tracking of costs, schedules, and deliverables, contributing to the success of projects that shape the future of communities.

Your Impact

• Collaborate with project managers, project accountants, and financial leadership to ensure the tracking and control of project costs;
• Collaborate with the project team to track the progress of deliverables, tasks, and the project (Earned Value principles);
• Ensure the preparation, tracking, and control of project schedules of various sizes in collaboration with project managers;
• Maintain project-related information (schedules, cost reports, progress reports, etc.);
• Assist in the preparation of project progress reports;
• Produce forecasts (forecasts) to project completion (ETC, EAC principles);
• Support project management processes, including opening, closing, and quality assurance processes;
• Track change requests to ensure regular follow-up;
• Other tasks assigned/required in project management, cost, and schedule control.
• The Skills That Set You Apart
• DEP, AEC, or DEC in administration or accounting or any other relevant training;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in project planning and control and relevant experience in a service company;
• Knowledge and mastery of project control and tracking principles, including Earned Value concepts;
• Bilingualism is required since the ideal candidate will collaborate with teams across Canada, which is an asset for our diverse work environments;
• Knowledge of MS Office suite software (especially Word and Excel);
• Knowledge of scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6) considered an asset;
• Ability to organize effectively and prioritize work;
• Ability to meet deadlines, deliver, and manage multiple tasks;
• Initiative, attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a team while challenging project managers;
• Ability to evaluate key business situations, identify the causes of deviations, and take corrective measures to prevent them from recurring.

Compensation BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $60,300 – $88,400 MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800

Atlantic Provinces & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
