As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a curious, resourceful, and passionate Automotive Installation Technician to join our Research & Development Center.

What you will be doing?

Reporting to the Research Center Team Lead, you will play a key role in developing and testing new automotive technologies by working directly on vehicles alongside our engineering and software development teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Install, test and validate electronic vehicle solutions (on-site and off-site).
• Collect, test, and analyze vehicle data using our equipment.
• Extract wiring diagrams and technical information from vehicle shop manuals.
• Understand systems architecture and operation by reading diagrams and vehicle documentation.
• Photo-document vehicle wiring information (color, wire location, etc.) and enter information into our database.
• Assist the technical writing team in creation and upkeep of installation guides.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve bugs.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Who you are?

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in the automotive industry.
• You're passionate about cars.
• You enjoy modifying, repairing, or working on vehicles.
• You're not afraid to take a vehicle apart to understand how it works.
• You're known for your problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
• You hold a valid driver's license.
• Assets:
• A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in Automotive Mechanics, Electromechanics, or a related field.
• Bilingualism (French and English), as some of our partners are English-speaking.
• Comfortable using computer applications (Microsoft 365, Adobe..)
