Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Firmware QA Specialist to join a team developing innovative IoT solutions, including smart surveillance cameras designed to function in demanding outdoor environments.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will act as a true bridge between firmware development teams and product validation teams. Your mission will be to go beyond functional testing to identify the root causes of anomalies, analyze the behavior of embedded systems, and actively contribute to improving product quality.

Every employee is important to us. We value people who can combine technical expertise, curiosity, autonomy, and analytical thinking to solve complex problems.

Discover your future responsibilities:

  • Analyze problems reported by users and conduct technical investigations to identify the root cause.
  • Examine system logs, firmware traces, telemetry, and network communications to diagnose anomalies.
  • Perform firmware validation on different hardware platforms.
  • Test update, recovery, storage, and reboot processes for devices.
  • Validate exchanges between IoT devices, the cloud, mobile applications, and web applications.
  • Design and maintain Python scripts to automate diagnostics and certain validations.
  • Participate in improving test strategies, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor CI pipeline results and analyze test failures.
  • Collaborate with Firmware, Software, Hardware, and Product teams to improve overall solution quality.
  • Contribute to improving tools, test benches, and validation environments.
  • Write detailed investigation reports and document anomalies in Jira.
  • Your technical expertise:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, embedded system validation, firmware testing, or IoT products.
  • Good mastery of the C language and ability to read and understand existing code.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux and command line.
  • Experience in Bash scripting.
  • Good mastery of Python for automation, log analysis, or tool development.
  • Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and firmware architectures.
  • Experience in debugging via serial console (UART, Minicom, Screen, or equivalent).
  • Good mastery of Jira for defect tracking and management.
  • Understanding of network protocols and communications between connected devices.
  • Experience with IoT products, connected devices, or hardware environments is a plus.
  • Soft skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical curiosity.
  • Investigative spirit and "Root Cause Analysis" orientation.
  • Autonomy and organizational skills.
  • Team spirit and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Rigor and quality consciousness.
  • Proactive and continuous improvement-oriented approach.
