Employment Type: Permanent A career as a Senior Analyst within the Financial Planning and Analysis team of Banque Nationale means acting as a specialist in financial forecasting and advanced financial modeling. This role allows you to have a tangible impact on the Bank's financial strategy through your expertise in balance sheet management, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and financial data management.

Your Role

• Develop financial forecasting and balance sheet management models to support strategic planning and business decision-making.
• Design and enhance scenario analyses and crisis simulation models to support financial risk management activities.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and improve financial forecasting processes.
• Produce high-impact analyses and reports that generate significant business insights through data storytelling and visualization.
• Optimize the use of data and digital tools to streamline information management and enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor industry best practices and regulatory developments related to financial planning and analysis.
• Your Team

The Finance sector brings together specialists who work in an agile, collaborative, and innovative environment to strengthen the Bank's financial capabilities and support strategic growth.

Within the Financial Planning and Analysis service, you will join a team of approximately five colleagues and report to the Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. You will play a key role in developing financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and advanced financial models that support critical business decisions. The team is recognized for its strong collaboration with strategic partners and its significant contribution to the organization's financial performance.

Requirements

• University degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, and at least three years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in balance sheet management.
• Strong understanding of banking products and financial services.
• Experience in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis using SQL.
• Experience in programming and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) software, an asset.
