Quality Analyst

Horne Foundry is currently looking for a Quality Analyst to participate in the development of a quality management system.

WHAT MIGHT INTEREST YOU ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Horne Foundry, located in Rouyn-Noranda, and the CCR refinery, located in Montreal-East, are involved in the production of copper, which is found in most of the objects in our everyday lives. The company, in operation for nearly 95 years, employs over 1200 people who form the largest asset of Glencore's North American copper operations. It provides, in a responsible manner, a basic product that improves daily life.

YOUR MISSION: Your mission as a Quality Analyst in the Horne Foundry team:

• Establish measures for assets and processes in the relevant sectors and ensure that the various ongoing processes are respected;
• Monitor sampling techniques and preparation issues with the operations teams;
• Provide technical support to internal clients;
• Optimize existing processes and actively participate in sector projects.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Hold a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering, chemistry, or a related field;
• Have experience in a metallurgical industry;
• Be a member of the Order of Chemists or Engineers of Quebec;
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
