Quality Projects Manager

Position

Reporting to the Quality Control Director, the Quality Projects Manager is responsible for managing project files for all aspects related to quality. They ensure the conformity and quality of products developed and manufactured by the company as well as by subcontractors. They work closely with Supplier Quality Managers, Project Coordinators, the Methods Department, the Quality Assurance Director, and Plant Foremen.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze proposals to identify quality requirements;
• Define and formalize quality requirements specific to each contract (e.g., quality plan);
• Define and prepare the complete set of quality deliverables for the project;
• Write production and testing plans for all stages of manufacturing (in-plant production and on-site installation work);
• Participate in progress meetings with clients and represent the quality function;
• Write and/or manage inspection reports and other quality documents;
• Validate quality-related records and ensure their conformity;
• Compile, update, and manage the quality records collection;
• Write, follow up, and close non-conformity reports, in coordination with stakeholders;
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the quality management system.

Qualifications

• DEC or BACC in industrial mechanics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Good knowledge of metrology, welding, and painting;
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
• Good ability to meet planning and coordination requirements;
• Autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
• Initiative and creativity in finding solutions;
• Great ability to work in a team and collaborate with different services.
