Your Responsibilities
- Issue and track purchase orders;
- Manage and prioritize internal customer requests (production and maintenance restocking);
- Track open orders and follow up with suppliers;
- Ensure that the procurement procedure is followed and applied across all company sites;
- Conduct research for new supply sources to reduce costs and increase corporate savings;
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers;
- Analyze and consolidate division needs;
- Develop and implement procedures and performance indicators;
- Responsible for negotiating and validating corporate agreements;
- Prepare cost analysis reports;
- Monitor supplier evaluations;
- Maintain the list of approved suppliers up to date;
- Demonstrate excellent communication with internal customers;
- Work with senior management in establishing the global strategic plan;
- Involvement in the procurement process and standardization of procedures at the global level;
- Work closely with buyers from our China and Mexico divisions;
- All other related tasks.
To join our team
- Hold a DEC in supply management or related field;
- Have 5 years of experience in a procurement department within a manufacturing company;
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, an asset;
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.

Environmental Responsibilities
- Acquire safety data sheets for hazardous products;
- Communicate the company's environmental requirements;
- Ensure the quality of packaging and labeling of hazardous product containers supplied by suppliers;
- Apply regulations regarding the import and transport of hazardous materials;
- Sensitize suppliers and subcontractors on the need to comply with operational procedures and environmental regulatory requirements.
