Description

We are looking for an SAP Project Manager to join our team of advisors at our Quebec office, within the framework of a permanent position.

This position is hybrid.

Acting as a consultant for Chrome Technologies, the candidate will intervene with our clients in the realization of the projects they have entrusted to us.

Tasks

We are looking for a project manager to lead the upgrade of SAP Business One, from version 9.2 to version 10, in an international and technically complex environment.

The project includes the coordination of the application migration, the renewal of certain infrastructure components as well as the reconfiguration of the internal tools related to SAP. The upgrade of SAP will be carried out in collaboration with the integration partner.

• Plan and coordinate all activities related to the migration of SAP Business One 9.2 to version 10.
• Develop and maintain the project plan, schedule, milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate work between internal teams, infrastructure teams and the partner.
• Supervise the refresh of servers and the preparation of technical environments.
• Ensure the coordination of the reconfiguration and validation of the internal tools "SAP Tools".
• Organize the phases of analysis, configuration, testing, data migration and deployment.
• Coordinate functional tests, integration tests and user acceptance activities.
• Monitor the issues, decisions, scope changes and corrective actions.
• Produce progress reports and communicate the project status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities with resources located in Canada, India, Germany, Ireland and Brazil.
• Prepare the deployment plan, the handover plan and the stabilization activities after deployment.

Requirements

• Significant experience in ERP project management or application transformation projects.
• Experience in a SAP Business One, SAP or comparable ERP environment.
• Experience in coordinating migrations, application upgrades or infrastructure renewals.
• Good understanding of the steps of testing, data migration, deployment and stabilization.
• Ability to coordinate multiple technical, functional and vendor teams.
• Experience in an international context and with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in French and English.
• PMP, PRINCE2 certification or equivalent experience considered an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One version 9 or 10 considered an important asset.
