Under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for installing cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems at our various clients in Quebec and Ontario. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and/or diagnosing existing installations at these clients, while providing customer service to them when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and repair security systems (cameras, alarm systems, access control, etc.)
- Regularly inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and correct technical failures
- Advise internal and external clients on appropriate security solutions (alarm, fire, video surveillance, access control, etc.)
- Provide technical support to internal departments and subcontractors
- Participate in project implementation in collaboration with the security team
- Write intervention reports and ensure technical follow-up
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license for at least 2 years;
- Valid BSP card (Installation and technical advice);
- Experience/knowledge of Genetec, Axis Communications, and Bosch Security Systems (asset);
- DEP in installation and maintenance of security systems or related training (DEP, AEC, DEC);
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the field;
- Bilingual French/English, oral and written;
- Ability to work alone, on the road, or on-site;
- Good sense of organization, priorities, and customer service;
- Good communication, stress management, and adaptability;
- Resourcefulness and ease of working under pressure
