CPA Controller

Founded in 1987, Trial Design is a Quebec company specializing in high-end architectural cabinetry.

For nearly 40 years, it has designed, manufactured, and installed custom commercial projects for prestigious brands such as Tesla, Starbucks, L'Oréal, Browns, Crate & Barrel...etc. both in Canada and internationally.

Your Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, you will occupy a central role within the organization.

You will be responsible for all accounting activities, including financial tracking and project accounting.

• Supervise the complete accounting cycle;
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements;
• Perform various financial analyses;
• Ensure financial tracking of manufacturing projects;
• Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes;
• Supervise an accounting technician;
• Collaborate closely with various managers;
• Gradually participate in the company's strategic files;
• Work in collaboration with external auditors and various financial partners.

Desired Profile

• Hold the title of CPA;
• Have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience;
• Possess solid experience in financial accounting;
• Master project accounting;
• Have experience in a manufacturing environment (a significant asset);
• Communicate easily in French and English in a business context;
• Master Excel, particularly pivot tables and financial analysis;
• Use an ERP system, ideally Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).
