What we offer

• Starting salary of $24.68/hour with salary increases based on hours worked ($27.97/hour after 1,000 hours, $29.61/hour after 2,000 hours, and $32.90/hour after 3,000+ hours).
• Evening premium of $1.50/hour, if applicable for this position;

What we offer

• Starting salary of $24/hour, with several salary increases based on hours worked, up to $32/hour after 3 years;
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM;
• Payroll processed every week;

About the position – Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate cutting and bending machines (automatic, semi-automatic, and manual) safely.
• Manually lift and load reinforcing steel bars up to 50 pounds onto the machines.
• Untangle and shake reinforcing steel bars up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Keep hands, clothing, and tools away from all moving parts and follow safety devices and protections.
• Inspect and verify machines at the start of shifts to detect loose parts, leaks, or signs of wear.
• Always wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injuries.
• Clean machines and work areas after following appropriate shutdown and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Always comply with AGF's health and safety policies.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.
• About you: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment;
• Basic math/measurement skills;
• Ability to learn and use various types of manufacturing equipment;
• Ability to perform physical work – lifting/moving up to 50 lbs;
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical work;
• Good communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and strong teamwork aptitude.
