Description

A successful event is not just about flawless logistics. It is about a carefully thought-out experience, genuine hospitality, and flawless execution. Guests who leave with new ideas, new contacts, or new business opportunities. Partners who want to come back. Volunteers who are proud to contribute.

We believe that events are much more than calendar appointments. They are one of the main ways to bring together the business community, create value for our members, and advance the region's major economic issues.

Each year, we organize dozens of activities bringing together thousands of participants: conferences, lunches, cocktails, networking activities, economic forums, and gala. We are now embarking on a new stage of our development.

To support this ambition, we are looking for a person who will contribute to evolving the quality, innovation, and impact of each of our activities.

Your Role

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the entire team, you will take on the Event Experience role.

You will plan, coordinate, and execute events that reflect the excellence standards of the Chamber. From planning to the final report, you will ensure both the participants' experience and the smooth running of the organization.

You will collaborate with partners, suppliers, speakers, volunteers, and internal teams to offer a professional, warm, and reputable experience.

Beyond organization, you will constantly seek to improve our events, innovate in our formats, and optimize our ways of doing things.

Your Main Responsibilities

You will be mainly called to: plan, coordinate, and execute Chamber events, from their conception to the final report; elaborate schedules, budgets, logistics plans, and coordinate suppliers and partners; design and evolve the experience of participants, speakers, partners, and VIP guests; ensure the respect of quality, welcome, and hospitality standards that distinguish Chamber events; ensure the smooth running of events and efficiently manage unexpected events; collaborate with internal teams to align events with the organization's priorities; analyze results and propose continuous improvements; contribute to the development of new concepts and ensure rigorous budget and agreement management.

The Profile We Are Looking For

You have a true sense of hospitality, you derive real satisfaction from creating memorable experiences, and you share our ambition?

You enjoy receiving, anticipating participants' needs, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring that every detail contributes to the overall quality.

You could be the person we are looking for if you: have relevant training in event management, tourism, hospitality, administration, communications, marketing, or a related field; have at least three years of experience in event organization, hospitality, catering, convention centers, event agencies, or any other environment where customer experience is a priority; demonstrate excellent organizational, hospitality, and service skills; remain calm and efficient when unexpected events occur; are known for your rigor, autonomy, and attention to detail; enjoy working in a team and coordinating multiple stakeholders around a common goal; master digital tools and event management platforms.

Experience in a chamber of commerce, association, non-profit organization, or the corporate world is an asset.

Our Way of Working

At the Chamber, we believe that the best organizations give their teams the means to fully exercise their judgment.

We are looking for professionals who take initiatives, collaborate generously, and constantly seek to improve their ways of doing things.

Our culture is based on autonomy, responsibility, collaboration, rigor, continuous improvement, and intelligent use of technology to create more value.

Why Join Us?

You will contribute to imagining and executing the main economic events of the South Shore, events that bring together thousands of participants each year.

You will work within an engaged team that shares the same ambition: offering experiences that become a benchmark in the business community.

You will have a great deal of autonomy to propose new ideas, improve our practices, and evolve our event signature.

Beyond event organization, you will contribute to creating opportunities for meeting, dialogue, and collaboration that grow the South Shore business community.
