Weekend Day Forklift Operator

Robert Group is hiring a weekend day forklift operator for 7h-15h on Saturdays and Sundays.

Under the supervision of the team leader or warehouse supervisor, the forklift operator is responsible for the reception, preparation, movement, and shipment of goods while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. They work in a refrigerated environment (-18 °C) and use various types of lifting equipment, including the forklift.

Tasks of the weekend day forklift operator include

• Perform the reception and shipment of goods;
• Prepare orders accurately;
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the storage area;
• Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations;
• Operate a forklift (electric pallet truck, counterbalanced forklift, sit-down forklift);
• Work efficiently in a temperature-controlled environment (-18 °C).

Desired profile for the weekend day forklift operator

• Good physical condition (ability to lift loads of 50lbs)
• Experience in handling is desirable
• Experience operating forklifts for 6-12 months
• Comfortable using technological equipment
• Tolerance to cold.
