Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the sanitation team’s activities and oversee day-to-day operations on the floor
- Ensure compliance with cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene programs according to established standards and procedures
- Conduct inspections, participate in GMP rounds, identify gaps, and follow up on corrective actions
- Contribute to trend analysis related to environmental results, equipment, swabs, and luminometer readings
- Investigate sanitation-related non-conformities and deviations, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures
- Ensure availability, compliance, and updating of documentation related to sanitation activities
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and external suppliers to plan and support sanitation activities
- Act as the main point of contact for pest control management and ensure follow-up on visits, reports, and required actions
- Participate in employee training and support the maintenance of food safety programs
Profile Sought
- Hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities
- Results-oriented and focused on action and internal/external customer service
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement
- Knowledge of safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP principles
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Strong command of French (spoken and written); functional English
Requirements
- College diploma, vocational training, or other relevant education in food, quality, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Availability for periodic presence on the night shift
